Seven Springs — Consistently rated the top ski area in the Mid-Atlantic region by readers of SKI Magazine, Seven Springs, Pennsylvania – also the largest ski resort in the state – has added scores of improvements in recent years, including regrading major runs and installing new snowmaking equipment. For kids and younger riders, a “magic carpet” lift (think a kid-friendly conveyer belt) was added to the snow-tubing park, and The Alley terrain park  – a half-mile-long section of bumps and jibs – was created; the resort also purchased a new snowcat to shape its superpipe.
