How to Score Major Savings on MSC Divina This Year By ShermansTravel Staff

Mark your calendars. A new era for MSC Cruises’ MSC Divina will be ushered in on December 16 as the five-year-old ship will depart from Miami on her final seven-night Caribbean itinerary – leading the way for the all-new MSC Seaside to sail those seven-night voyages following her christening later this year. Starting December 23, MSC Divina will expand to 10- and 11-night sailings of the Caribbean and Central America for this winter and next fall.

Ahead of the transition, MSC Cruises is offering an MSC Divina blowout sale that prices interior staterooms on seven-night itineraries for as little as $369 per person. Under the sale, guests can choose from 20 departure dates between August 5 and December 16, with ports ranging from St. Maarten and San Juan to Ocho Rios and the Cayman Islands.

Currently, the $369 rate is available for the September 30 sailing; other dates are being offered from $10 more. We love this deal because you can save as much as 50 percent compared to similar seven-night itineraries offered by other cruise lines – all while experiencing one of the world’s most unique ships during her final season of weeklong sailings. Plus, at $369, your cruise will cost you less than $55 per night -- that's a steal. Click here to book your cruise.

The 4,345-passenger, 18-deck MSC Divina has a casual-yet-elegant vibe with seven restaurants and buffets (including Eataly), and more than a dozen bars and lounges. For some of the best entertainment at sea, head to the Pantheon Theater for acrobatic and Broadway- and Vegas-style shows, or splash around at the Aqua Park. Seeking some relaxation? Book an appointment at the MSC Aurea Spa, which touts 20 different massages.

Once MSC Seaside makes her grand debut, she will introduce an innovative design that features some outward-facing staterooms situated high above the aft pool deck, maximizing views of some of the world’s dreamiest tropical islands. Beyond your stateroom, enjoy the fresh air while strolling along expanded promenades or during an al fresco spa treatment. Inside, settle in to the Metropolitan Theater for Broadway-style productions, have some friendly competition at the two bowling lanes, or grab a bite at any of the nine eateries – including an Asian restaurant by celebrity chef Roy Yamaguchi.
