Located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island in Victoria, British Columbia, Oak Bay Beach Hotel is finally ready to open its doors again after being closed since 2006. The new property will house 100 rooms, all featuring spa tubs, gas fireplaces, and kitchens or kitchenettes. On-site, guests can make use of a spa, seaside mineral pool, dinner theater, and pub. In honor of the grand reopening, Oak Bay will allow guests to book rooms at the hotel’s 2006 prices. Rates start at $129/night – a $100 savings over 2012 rates – and you could save up to $154/night for higher room categories. The offer is valid for stays from May 25 to December 31, 2012.

THE VALUE: Depending on the room category and the season, you’ll save 26 to 44 percent off the new standard rates.

THE CATCH: You’ll have to book this deal by December 31 to score the low rates, but the hotel’s scheduled reopening isn’t until May 25, 2012.
