As one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations, no other place knows how to stage a spectacle like Sin City. Get comfortable in the plush banquets at one of these five shows you must see in Vegas this year. From living legends to thrilling stage stunts, they'll be some of the grandest productions you’ll ever see.

Steve Wynn's ShowStoppers (Wynn Las Vegas)
When it comes to top-of-the-line extravagance, hotelier Steve Wynn knows no bounds. His multi-billion dollar empire stands proudly with the Wynn Las Vegas hotel, a destination known for its luxury accommodations. Seeking the best entertainment money can buy, Wynn has created Las Vegas’s newest stage spectacle with Steve Wynn's ShowStoppers. With glitzy costumes and true Vegas panache, this musical theater revue is an evening of Broadway’s greatest hits, performed by 35 singers and dancers and accompanied by a 31-piece orchestra. From $100.

Elton John The Million Dollar Piano (Caesars’ Palace)
The rock legend Elton John returns to Vegas this winter, at Caesars’ Colosseum. Bringing back his hit show The Million Dollar Piano, John performs his greatest hits from his five-decade career. The concert is an incredible spectacle of multimedia and lights, with giant LED screens adding brilliant pops of color. The perpetually sold-out concerts are one of the town’s hottest, so be sure to book far in advance. From $55.

Michael Jackson ONE (Mandalay Bay)
Entertainment powerhouse Cirque du Soleil adds its eighth permanent production to its world-class line of boundary-pushing circus spectacles. Michael Jackson: One debuted in 2013, and audiences still can’t to get enough. Sold out crowds stare in awe at the acrobatics and signature Jackson choreography as they bop along to the pop icon’s greatest hits. The 90-minute performance is complete with gigantic video screens, lasers, and thousands of lights that ignite the stage. From $75.90.

David Copperfield (MGM Grand)
Modern magic’s most renowned man of mystery, David Copperfield, has set up shop at the MGM Grand. This newly devised show is smaller in scale than Copperfield audiences have come to expect, and for good reason. The new performance delivers in up-close magic, featuring thrilling artistry with mind-bending card tricks, sleight of hand, and a hearty dose of comedy. Though there are video screens, try to book in advance for the best seats -- the closer you get, the more likely you are to discover his tricks. (Okay, you probably won't succeed... but you’ll have a blast trying.) From $77.76.

Cirque Du Soleil’s O (The Bellagio)
Water is the star fixture in Cirque Du Soleil’s O at The Bellagio -- a behemoth production that features a 1.5 million-gallon pool as its main stage. Marvel as 85 performers dive, swim, float, and emerge from the seemingly limitless body of water, all clad in ornate wetsuits. The essential element is incorporated into every act of the show, with eye-popping visuals that make the audience of 3,600 gasp nightly. From $98.50.
