You really can do almost anything on a cruise ship, from attending lectures to riding bumper cars. For cruisers who want to learn an entirely new skill, here are five of the craziest classes you can take while on board.

1. Aqua Cycling

MSC Divina was the first cruise ship to offer aqua cycling classes (basically spin class underwater) as part of its fitness program, and the trend is taking off. Pedaling underwater increases resistance and burns up to 800 calories an hour. This is the only class on the list with an additional charge ($15).

This fun activity happens in two parts — first, led by their cruise staff, guests learn a version of the original "Thriller" choreography from Michael Jackson's iconic music video. Afterward, they take part in a flash-mob-style performance of the dance. To get more of Jackson's music, check out the "Legends in Concert" featuring a pitch-perfect Michael Jackson impersonator.
