This Memorial Day, don't get suckered into paying premiums to travel during the holiday. Whether you crave beach bliss, action-packed entertainment, or a little dose of history, we've uncovered hotel deals ranging from just $106 to $239 per night. Ready to hit the road?

$106: The Linq Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas
Sin City is a popular destination for any weekend given the sheer number of flights and that fares are always low. We found a cheap weekend getaway at The Linq Hotel & Casino, Vegas’ newest property, if you can be flexible on travel dates. May 23 runs $229 but the rate drops to $125 on May 24 and dips even lower on May 25 and 26 ($36.75). So if you checked in on Saturday and departed Wednesday, you’d pay only $426 total -- or an average of $106 per night.

$139: Hotel Monaco in Salt Lake City
Hotel Monaco Salt Lake City’s new Hit the Road package debuts Memorial Day weekend, making sure you don’t leave without exploring the area’s local parks: Moab, Goblin Valley State Park and American Fork Canyon. Upon check-in you get a tote stuffed with road-trip essentials -- from snacks to a map -- and free overnight parking, the usual morning coffee service and nightly Wine Hours. Even better, rates over the long weekend average $139 per night. Use promo code ROAD to book.

$199: The Press Hotel in Portland, Maine
We’re always pleased when we find hotels that don’t markup special weekends -- particularly when those hotels are sparkling new and of the historic boutique variety. Opening May 6, The Press Hotel is New England’s first Autograph Collection property, housed in the former home of the Portland Press Herald. This heritage is reflected in the playful typographical art that line the walls and even the floor, not to mention the typewriter references throughout the hotel. Advanced purchase rates start from $179 Friday and Saturday nights, then dip to $169 Sunday night.

$199: Wyndham Grand Jupiter in Jupiter, Florida
How often do you find a brand-new beachfront hotel for under $200 per night on a holiday weekend? Not often, we’ll guess. But that’s exactly what you get as a part of the Stay and Save 20% discount at Wyndham Grand Jupiter -- recently opened along Florida’s beautiful Intracoastal Waterway. There’s a rooftop pool and chic raw-bar onsite to enjoy, too.

$215: Harbor Hotel on Cape Cod
Slip in before high season at this hip P’town hotel and enjoy yourself a nicely discounted Cape Cod. The property features tons of Mid-century Modern design flair, complete with Adirondack chairs decorating its beach and a Whaler Lounge serving coastal-inspired fare like lobster slides. May 22-15, you’re looking at $215 per night, a very reasonable price for a holiday weekend -- especially considering July 4’s $319 rates.

$229: Mayflower Renaissance Washington, D.C.
The nation’s capital is a superbly apt destination for celebrating the country’s heroes. Stay two nights at the newly renovated AAA Four-Diamond Mayflower Renaissance and get $90 in credit, in honor of the hotel's 90th anniversary. Starting from $229 per night, these Make History With Us rates beat out the weekend rates (from $199) when you factor in the credit. You’ll even be treated to the hotel’s famous banana bread at check-in and take home the recipe along with a commemorative hotel book.

$239: Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa
Looking to head South? This Fort Lauderdale resort is so packed with amenities, from a 22,000-square-foot spa to five restaurants to an onsite Starbucks, that you might never wish to leave. With its More is Less package, available during Memorial Day, bookings of two nights qualify for 15 percent off while three nights earn 20 percent off. Averages end up starting at $239 per night, though if you plan on staying on property the Great Rates package, which starts at $254 but includes a $50 daily resort credit, might make more sense. (Note: Rates do not include the $25 daily resort fee.)
