If you need a little something to punch up your vacation wardrobe, or if you are looking to splurge on a special item from your favorite designer, many cruise ships have you covered. Bonus: There's no sales tax at sea, and the items are duty-free (though you may have to pay customs fees when you get back to the U.S., so don't overdo it). Here are nine ship shops where the temptations abound.
Found on: Disney Cruise Line
Surprisingly, Disney Cruise Line’s ships do not have an official Disney Store. Instead you'll find these shops, called Mickey's Mainsail on all of the ships besides Disney Wonder, where it is called Mickey's Mates. On sale are plush toys and princess costumes, plus cruise-themed collectibles like Christmas ornaments and beach towels. "Star Wars"-themed merchandise was also recently added.
Found on: Norwegian Escape
Norwegian Escape gives you the opportunity to splurge with the luxury designer's first at-sea boutique, featuring handbags and shoes as well as pashminas, scarves, and jewelry. Prices are not for the faint of pocketbook, but who can resist fabulous jewel-encrusted jelly sandals?
Found on: Oasis of the Seas
Also located in Central Park, Oasis of the Seas' Tiffany boutique is the jewelry line's first at sea. The 875-square-foot shop sells gold and silver jewelry, engagement rings, and watches — all packaged in the company's signature blue boxes, of course.
Found on: Cunard
Cunard's ocean liners have all sorts of temptations, from the Fortnum & Mason goods and Harris Tweed jackets on Queen Elizabeth, to the Harrods items on Queen Mary 2, to the limited-edition Waterford crystal on Queen Victoria. But we're especially fond of the bookstores, stocked with nautical literature, posters, postcards, and Cunard memorabilia.
Found on: Crystal Cruises
If you don't want to be limited to one designer, Crystal's Apropos boutiques stock cruise-ready items from many different labels, including Calypso St. Barth, Diane von Furstenberg, and Tommy Bahama. There are also bags from Bottega Veneta and Burberry, and cosmetics from Yves Saint Laurent and Dior.

Decided that everything you packed was a little too drab for days out in the bright sun? Pick up one the brand's iconic polo shirts in a choice of vibrant colors, and while you're at it check out the shoes and accessories.
Found on: Celebrity Cruises
Get a deal on Apple products (remember, they are tax-free and duty-free) on Celebrity Cruises ships. As an Authorized Apple Reseller, the line can sell MacBooks, iPads, iPhones, and iPods. There are even specialists onboard to show you how to use your new device.
