The Winter Olympics are officially over – and, hopefully, the chilliest days of winter are, too. Inspired by all that snow-carving, high-flying action, why not hit the slopes yourself? This spring, a bevy of resorts are offering enticing deals to let you channel your inner Lindsey Vonn and Shaun White. The weather has cooperated, too, especially in the Northeast, where several fierce storms have dumped snow on the slopes and amped up the powder potential. In addition, according to industry reports, visits are down 15 percent this March, which is typically high season – giving customers extra leverage. Still, you'll find the best deals mid- to late April, when the skies are blue, temps are warmer, and slopes are less crowded – all sweet conditions. Here, just a few of the deals you can snap up before snapping on your boots:

Eat and Ski Free at The Canyons, Park City, Utah: Snag a one- to four-bedroom suite plus free lift tickets and a breakfast buffet for each paid night at several resorts, including Silverado Lodge and Vintage on the Strand. Packages start at $343 per night and the deal runs through April 11.

Go East to Snowshoe, West Va.: A popular resort in the East, Showshoe has already surpassed its average annual snowfall of 180 inches this season. In early February, a storm dumped more than 30 inches of snow onto the resort, pushing the total measurement to 192 – eight inches short of last year's total and prompting resort brass to extend the ski season through April 5. And there are hot deals available to help you take advantage of it. Snag free lift tickets with a minimum two nights' lodging from March 28 through April 5. Book three or more nights in a lodging packages, and kids 12 and younger can ski or board free during March. Four or more nights will get you a $200 gift certificate good at retail shops and restaurants and for outdoor activities.

Viva Vail: There are several enticing offers at this perennial favorite in Colorado, including buy two, get one free (including accommodations and lift tickets) and rooms at 20 to 35 percent off the rack rate. Off-piste, check out a handful of fun events: the Vail Film Festival (April 1-4); Taste of Vail, featuring food and wine tastings (April 8-10); and Spring Back to Vail, featuring daily concerts, parties, and the infamous World Pond Skimming Championship, during which costumed and scantily clad skiers attempt to jump over a pond of melted snow (April 12-18).
