Reality star Bethenny Frankel is always on the go, estimating she’ll spend 100 days on the road this year. If that isn’t proof enough -- with a Bravo show and a new book -- it’s clear that the Real Housewives of New York castmate and author isn’t slowing down. Her Skinnygirl lifestyle brand just partnered with SodaStream sparkling water to launch two flavored sparkling drink mixes: Cucumber Lime and Mango Berry. “Our flavors are all-natural and low-calorie," says SodaStream CEO Daniel Birnbaum. We’d like to sip one of those on a sunny beach. And speaking of warmer weather -- it’s almost time to travel out to the Hamptons, and there’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that Bethenny is the expert in this swanky beach town. We asked about her favorite Hamptons spots, how to stay healthy while traveling, and her future vacation. Check out our one-on-one chat with the mogul mom.

Where’s your next for-fun travel destination?

Besides the Hamptons, the Galapagos in June.

What are your plans there?

I’m fortunate enough that a friend is inviting 49 people, plus-one, on a boat that they’ve taken over. They’re organizing everything. That’s the kind of trip I wouldn’t have the patience or time to organize. It’s coming on a silver platter, and I’m really excited.

You love the Hamptons -- what are your favorite spots?

I walk on the beach every day in Bridgehampton. I do yoga at Yoga Shanti and Flywheel in Sag Harbor. I like to go to Fresh, which is a healthy new restaurant. East Hampton Grill is probably my favorite for a good vibe.

What do you like to do with your little one, Bryn, in the Hamptons?

I like to go to the children’s museum with my daughter. They have puppet shows out there. They have all these great festivals. There’s so much to do there. It’s amazing year-round, and during the week, especially.

What are some tips for staying healthy while vacationing?

You don’t want to go have 10 frozen drinks on the beach -- that’s like having a milkshake. Use where you are. I exercise more when I’m away than when I’m home because if I’m on a beach location, I’ll get to explore. Take a walk in the morning, and get to see the island. See what’s going on. Try surfing!

How about in colder weather?

You can ski Vermont. You can snowboard. I think when you’re away, be a little active. You don’t get that time when you’re home with your kids, getting them to and from school; it’s not as easy.

Any advice for eating out?

When you’re in restaurants, there are [bigger] portions, so just think about the way you order. You can enjoy a vacation and feel great if you’re having some balance and some self-control. You can indulge in anything you want -- you just don’t have to binge and go off the rails.

Anything you always pack while traveling?

A soft pillow, an eye mask, an Evian water spray, soft socks for the plane, and always built-in bra tank tops. They can serve as pajamas, a workout top, or a tank top.
