Cocktails are all the rage these days, so it was just a matter of time before happy hour moved from the tavern to the spa. We found three treatments to savor the next time you’re craving a tipple, but aren’t quite ready to belly up to the bar.

Hot Spiced Rum Stone Massage at Vegas’ Bathhouse Spa

A treatment room scented with sweet winter spices sets the stage for this soothing rubdown, which begins with an application of warm cinnamon, clove, and arnica oils, which rev circulation, even out skin tone, ease inflammation and, thanks to the arnica’s potent curative powers, deliver a dose of rum-like heat to the heart of your sore muscles. And whether they’re strategically placed to untie knots – or gliding over your oiled form – the hot, smooth stones let the work go deeper, doubling the benefit. Steaming towels wrapped around your hands and feet cocoon you in coziness. Bathhouse Spa, THEhotel, Las Vegas; 50 minutes, $165, $80 minutes, $215.

Mojito Sugar Scrub at Pennsylvania’s Spa at Hotel Hershey

Looking to source sugar for his growing chocolate company, in 1916, Milton S. Hershey traveled to Cuba to purchase a sugar plantation and promptly fell in love with the island’s culture. The Spa at Hotel Hershey recalls the romance of Cuba with a series of treatments that include a mojito wrap and mani/pedi as well as the sugar scrub. The secret is the spa’s signature lime sugar, a bracing concoction that’s studded with tiny orbs of real lime rind that pack a crisp, juicy punch as potent as that first sip of a well-shaken mojito as it sloughs away dead skin. This scrub won’t leave you high and dry:  Silky oils, beta carotene, and aloe add relaxing notes and make the scrub as nourishing as it is exfoliating.  Once you’ve been rubbed and scrubbed, a dose of mojito moisturizing lotion is massaged into the skin, leaving you both soft and smooth. The Spa at Hotel Hershey, Hershey, PA; 30 min, $65.

Rum Swizzle Ritual at Bermuda’s Spa at Elbow Beach

In a perfect world, every rum swizzle, Bermuda’s deliciously sneaky version of rum punch, would be delivered with this kind of style. Fruit, key to the swizzle’s appeal, does the heavy lifting here, starting with pineapple’s natural skin-exfoliating enzymes that, teamed with sugar and a therapist’s sure touch, cleanse and polish every part of your body to a healthy glow. To even out skin tone and add a kick of moisture, essential oils along with lemon, lime, and orange slices and their juices are added to a warm bath in one of the spa’s massive granite tubs; marinate as long as you’d like, rum swizzle in hand. A full-body massage using grapefruit-infused oil finishes the treatment.  At The Spa at Elbow Beach, Paget, Bermuda; 3 hours, $480.
