Summer festival season is upon us once again. If you're a music fan, but would rather spend your time by the pool instead of in the middle of a field, you might want to consider a couple of new deals for the Splash House festival in Palm Springs.
Splash House, which made its debut last year, is a music festival that takes place at comfortable poolside locations. Attendees move between the outdoor pools at top Palm Springs hotels to hear big-name dance acts (Neon Indian) and DJs (Moby). This year, the festival will present an extended three-pool event from June 13-15, including two evening events on Friday and Saturday, at three venues: The Hard Rock Hotel, the Hacienda, and The Saguaro.
Tickets for the whole weekend cost $103, but the Saguaro and the Hard Rock are both running hotel packages that include tickets. At the Saguaro, two nights' accommodation in a standard room with two festival tickets and shuttle transportation for the weekend costs $600, including all taxes; $925 for four people. The Hard Rock Hotel is offering the same package starting at $750; $950 for four people sharing. If you think you will need a little downtime after the festival, three-night packages, with a check out on the Monday rather than Sunday, are also available.
