Autumn in Chicago is heavenly -- and the city’s newest boutique hotel is just as sweet. Earlier this month, Soho House opened a Chicago outpost of its luxe collection, a mix of hotels and member clubs in cities like New York City, West Hollywood, and, of course, London (home to the brand's flagship).

Now through August 31, special introductory rates at Soho House Chicago begin at $240 a night. This is for a “tiny” and “small” room category between 200 and 350 square feet. Come September, per-night costs will spike up to $320, although some select weekdays in September and October will dip down to $260-$300.

A true boutique hotel, the 40-room property is tucked into an historic, industrial building in the Fulton Market District, home to art galleries and cutting edge restaurants like Next and Aviary, Grant Achatz’s two ticketed venues, just up the street. Within each room are unique accents such as signature wallpaper, china tea sets in an exclusive Soho House pattern, a crystal decanter, and rocks glasses. Design details that include rainforest-head showers, Persian rugs, and preppy tartan carpet round out the rooms.

Chicken Shop Chicago and PizzaEast Chicago – two of the hotel’s eateries – are the first to land in North America. (Others are at Soho House in London.) All-day dining at PizzaEast Chicago starts with poached eggs carbonara and ends with pizzas topped with indulgent ingredients -- cue burrata and Napoli salame. Adopting a diner aesthetic, Chicken Shop Chicago roasts free-range birds raised in Indiana at Pine Manor Farm.
