During the Waldorf Astoria Orlando's Enchanted Evenings celebration, champagne at check-in and bagpipes at sunset are just a few of the luxury perks you can indulge in -- starting from just $179 per night this summer.

The Enchanted Evenings celebration, which takes place through September 6, includes a variety of specialty events all day long. Among them are lawn games and contests, pool activities, a scavenger hunt, and evening entertainment -- all free for guests. Additional fees are required for programs such as poolside yoga, derby car building and racing, cocktail-making classes, family s'mores, a weird science ice cream social, and Southern Nights (featuring ice cream stations and local beer pairings poolside).

We found $179 rates for the dates of August 5-7, August 23-28, and August 31 to September 4. Note that an additional daily resort fee of $30 per room will apply, and valet parking is $26. For comparison, Disney's basic Value resorts start at an average rate of $108 per night and their Moderate resorts categories at $170 per night during the August 23-28 timeframe, with no resort or parking fees. Still, we think the upgrade would be a great value considering the Waldorf Astoria brand and the extra amenities and activities.
