It’s all fun and games until the FBI becomes involved. Rick Ehlert, a 44-year-old passenger aboard a Holland America cruise, learned this the hard way after he allegedly entered a restricted zone and dropped an anchor overboard. (After a few cocktails, he probably thought it was a really good idea at the time.) The intoxicated passenger was caught on the ship’s surveillance camera, and now faces charges of attempting to damage a vessel and endangering a ship's safe navigation. The ship, which was en route to Tampa from Costa Maya, was not damaged, but Ehlert’s pride has surely taken a hit. I’d imagine this would be a difficult incident to live down.
