Searching Airbnb listings in big cities can be daunting. Whether you've been to Paris one or 10 times, it's still the case. You can spend hours scouring apartment descriptions trying to find just the right price point and quartier for your ideal vacation. Enter Oasis Collections. Founded in 2009 in Buenos Aires, this concierge-based vacation rental company lists beautiful rental apartments, but it also handles everything from reservations to check-out for you. Already known through South and Central America and slowly seeping into the U.S. market via Miami, Oasis Collections is now based in 15 cities across the globe with 24/7 concierge service in each destination.

This summer, the brand added properties in the U.S. and Europe, starting in London, Barcelona, Paris, New York City, and Los Angeles. Plans are in the works for an app that gives advice on where to eat and drink, as well as perks and discounts at spas, gyms, and restaurants. This feature is already available in its established markets in São Paulo and Bogotá. By 2018, Oasis plans to extend its border even further, reaching 50 cities throughout the U.S., Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia.

While Airbnb provides a direct link between the owner and consumer, Oasis arranges all of the details from start to finish -- beginning with reservations. The team knows its inventory and is ready to assist guests with booking the perfect apartment, taking into account your preferred size, location, and budget. If you want a mansion off of the Champs-Élysées with daily maid service, that's one option; but if you're traveling solo or with a friend, a simple one-bedroom is another option. One example is the one-bedroom Bastille Blue, with wrap-around balconies and corner views, in the fourth arrondissement that's just a few minutes from the Quai de la Rapée metro stop (rates from €230, or about $263, per night).

A concierge is in touch from the minute you book, offering advice on the city and its sites, even if you're planning a last-minute getaway. And, even better, unlike Airbnb, the team is on your schedule. You can arrange check-in and check-out around your itinerary, and they'll even hold your bags. If you have a request or a question, just send a message on popular messaging app WhatsApp and someone will get back to you, 24 hours a day. Our concierge, Alexia, gave us a list of eateries divided by category: traditional, trendy, and Michelin-starred. Sure, you may luck out with the coolest Airbnb host ready to fill you in on where to eat like a local, but nothing beats a concierge who's ready to help when you're hungry on your first night out in town.

Hot Deal: Book a stay from now through September 30 and save $500 when using the promo code LiveGlobalStayLocal. Most rentals require a two- or three-night minimum stay.
