For a romantic and relaxing escape — complete with a side of wellness, exciting food and drink offerings, and stunning scenery — head straight to Royal Palms Resort & Spa in Phoenix. In fact, you may be tempted to stay on-property the entire time you're in town: and we don't blame you one bit.

What You Need to Know

The Look of Royal Palms Resort & Spa

It's All in the Details

With its striking Spanish Colonial architecture — and beautiful, colorful flowers adorning its facade — Royal Palms Resort & Spa looks like it’s been plucked straight out of Europe.

Step inside the historic property and you'll find a dark-hued lobby adjacent to a beautifully landscaped courtyard complete with an eye-catching fountain, plenty of seating, and lush greenery. The common spaces (both indoor and outdoor), sparkling pool area, and eateries also exude elegance — while the incredible Camelback Mountain vistas and towering cacti set the (picture-perfect) scene.

In terms of accommodations, travelers can select from 119 rooms, suites, casitas, and villas complete with lavish furnishings plus pristine views (either of the mountains or surrounding courtyards). Some are even equipped with deep soaking tubs, outdoor patios, and/or gas-burning fireplaces, which add an extra-romantic touch.

The Vibe at Royal Palms Resort & Spa

Royal Palms Resort & Spa is renowned for its intimate, tranquil ambiance. What's more, this nine-acre resort offers plenty of space to lounge out and unwind, so travelers will feel as if they (almost) have the whole place to themselves.

Best Amenity at Royal Palms Resort & Spa

Alvadora Spa is a highlight for its rejuvenating treatments and services (consider a CBD massage or citrus pedicure), indoor and outdoor relaxation areas, and private pools. The main cabana-lined pool area, which is flanked by comfy chaise lounges, is also noteworthy.

We’d also be remiss not to mention the on-site T. Cook’s restaurant, which serves up mouthwatering Mediterranean fare in an elegant setting. Tip: Snag a table outdoors — and in the shade — to enjoy your meal with a side of Camelback Mountain views and colorful blooms.
