Travel to Los Cabos is booming — and so is its resort scene. What You Need to Know

The Look – Framed by a dramatic arch that mimics the town’s most famous landmark, El Arco, the resort has stunning views of the desert meeting the Sea of Cortez (especially from its beachside infinity pools). Each villa is complete with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, separate living rooms, and -- depending on your room -- a whirlpool on the balcony.

The Vibe – You won’t encounter the party atmosphere of some nearby all-inclusive resorts here. Removed from the hustle and bustle of being right in town, this resort is much more laid-back and relaxing, with an air of sophistication.

Who Will Love It – The crowd is varied, and at this property, it works. Couples and groups of friends (whether indulging in a massage at the spa or dining at cliffside gourmet restaurant El Ciruelo, for example) will love the resort -- as will families, who can find great kids programming plus all-ages pools and activities.

Who Might Not – If your heart is set on all-inclusive pricing, or proximity to a thriving party scene, this isn't the resort for you. And, if you’re sensitive to walking, note that the sprawling property is spread over multiple levels, so it can sometimes be challenging to navigate.

Best Amenity – The three infinity pools (just steps away from the private beach) are the place to be on this property, and at one, you can order tropical drinks from a swim-up bar.

Meals and drinks aren’t included here, but you can cook out at the property's poolside community grills whenever you want. Wifi and parking are also included (or you can choose valet service for a $10 fee per night). 

Fees and Extra Costs You Should Know About

Some activities, like mini golf and basketball, are complimentary, while others such as tennis, the kids club, and make-your-own guacamole and ceviche cooking lessons, come with a charge. There are no cleaning fees.

Getting There

In the Neighborhood

Cabo has two towns — San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas — that are affectionately referred to as “siesta” and “fiesta,” and this resort is located right between the two. The sophisticated San José del Cabo, with its art galleries and upscale dining, is about 15-20 minutes away driving, while more commercialized Cabo San Lucas with its nightlife and beautiful beaches is about 30 minutes away by car. Between the two, you're also close to the area’s world-class golf courses, sports fishing, and surfing, plus organic farms where you can try the freshest farm-to-table food around.

Nearest Airport

San José Del Cabo International Airport is conveniently just 16 miles away, and the 25- to 30-minute cab ride comes in at around $35 USD. The hotel provides a shuttle service, or a private car service that can be arranged with the hotel concierge that's $80 USD for up to six people.

Nearest Public Transit

You'll need access to a car to get anywhere outside the property, so your best bet is to call a cab, have the hotel concierge arrange a private car, or rent one yourself for around $40 USD per day.
