Sin City’s heat factor amps up over the summer -- as do its hotel deals. If you can manage a trip to Las Vegas during the warmest months of the year, expect to save, including at a brand-new property.$69 at SLS Las Vegas
Suites at The Venetian and The Palazzo for $149
Want to stay in Vegas’ largest suites on the Strip -- but don’t want to pay a fortune? Look no further than the "luxury suites" at The Venetian (from 650 square feet) and The Palazzo (from 720 square feet). Each of these suites pack a ton in the spacious rooms: a king bed; dining table set; Roman tub; three television sets and a DVD player; and a sunken living room. June through August, the hotels' Sweet Suite Escape package gets you into those very retreats for less. More specifically, we plugged in some dates and found the best rates, from $149 per night, for most weekdays in mid- to late-June, as well as weekdays throughout July. You'll pay a bit more, from $169, for weekdays in August. On weekends, price spikes to $229-$289 in June and July, and $209 in August -- still a pretty good deal for the palatial spaces.
