Ready for a new place to stay in Yosemite National Park? Say hello to Rush Creek Lodge, which debuts in the park area in June. It'll be the sister property of Evergreen Lodge, which is just a half-mile west of the park’s Highway 120 West entrance, and is the first hotel to open near the park in more than 25 years. Even better: The hotel is already taking reservations for its 2016 opening, and, if you book soon, you'll be able to apply a $100 credit toward your stay.

The 143-room lodge comprises a mix of rooms, suites, and villas. All accommodations put a contemporary spin on a rustic aesthetic -- modern art hangs on the sunny yellow walls, while woodsy décor and bright pillows add to the charm. Of course, guests will enjoy plenty of 21st century comforts, like free WiFi, a fridge, and a Keurig coffee brewer in each room. The rooms don't have TVs, encouraging visitors to take advantage of their rooms' balconies and sitting areas while they're not out exploring the park -- although DVD players and DVDs can be rented through the hotel.

Elsewhere on site, you'll find fun facilities, like a gold-panning stream and a fly-casting pond. The property also has a tavern with a terrace, a restaurant with a wood-fired oven, and an outdoor pool that has a poolside bar.

So how much can you expect to pay? Winter has the lowest rates, and we found plenty of availability for rooms at $215-$250 per night between next October and December. Unsurprisingly, prices peak during the summer -- nights June through August start at $375. Fall is more moderate, dropping down to $295 per night during the second week of September.

But, again, make reservations by the end of 2015 to deduct $100 from your bill, for stays throughout 2016 of two nights or more. This means that, for a two-night stay, you could pay as little as $165 per night during the colder months and $245 per night in fall.
