Your Minibar is Ringing

Hotel Gansevoort was one of the first establishments to start the transformation of the once gritty streets of the Meatpacking District from meat to complete... with luxury.

Now the neighborhood is synonymous with chic, and the Gansevoort still stands above the rest in terms of modern amenities. For proof, just check out the mini bar.

Starting in 2009, one option on the minibar list is a cell phone. The Gansevoort Mobile Phone Program allows you to rent a phone during your stay. It will have national and international texting abilities, and no roaming charges. They also won't require registration or activation fees.

Now, from the 45-ft rooftop pool, to it's 187 luxury rooms and suites, to it's swanky restaurant and lounge, perks pop from pretty much every corner.

Calling home is now as tempting as those mini cans of Pringles.
