After years of planning and endless public updates announcing each stage of development, the long-awaited Carnival Dream will soon embark on the last of her series of inaugural sailings in the Mediterranean. While a handful of lucky cruisers have already experienced Carnival’s latest addition, many others are anxiously waiting for the “dream ship” to make its initial appearance in the United States this November.

As the first ship in the Dream class, a number of new innovations have been made to the 3,646-passenger vessel including family-friendly staterooms featuring 5-berths and two baths, a comedy club, laser-lights show, sprawling waterpark, sushi bar, and the largest spa in the fleet.

If you haven’t yet hopped onboard, cabins are still available for the 2-night sampler sailing to nowhere that embarks from New York on November 13. However, for a truly incredible value try the 8-night Bahamas-bound cruise that’s priced nearly 70 percent off brochure rates. (see our Editor’s Review). After making three sailings from New York, the Dream will head to to its winter home in Port Canaveral where it will continue to sail the waters of the Eastern Caribbean.
