Getting to Germany

Airports

Berlin has two major airports Schönefeld (SXF) and Tegel (TXL). For central Germany, fly to Frankfurt/Main (FRA). The EuroAirport (EAP) near Mulhouse in France is an excellent alternative for visits to the Black Forest. For Bavaria and points south, fly to Munich (MUC).

Airlines

All major U.S. carriers – United, American, Delta, US Airways – and most international airlines serve Germany. A number of charter and low-fare airlines also connect Germany to major US airports like Condor, Air Berlin, and LTU (the latter only operates from May to September).

Flight Times

8 hours from the East Coast to Germany; 12 hours from the West Coast to Germany.
