Watttredici Hotel

Address: Via Watt, 13

Neighborhood: Navigli

City: Milan

Expert Review

This hotel, in the hopping Navigli neighborhood just south of the historic center (just take the no. 2 tram or no. 74 bus from the main train station or city center), is that Milan rarity, a place that's both palpably hip and noticeably easy on your wallet. The lobby is airy and bright, with a gleaming white, elongated reception desk that's partially backlit, stylish sofas and Nordic wood accents. There's a changing roster of art exhibits in the lobby space, too. The guestrooms are aesthetically balanced with brown and white accents, comfortable beds with oversized headboards, and wall-mounted flat-screen TVs. Bathrooms are suitably slick, with Fragonard amenities. A big breakfast buffet, served in the very white breakfast room, includes homemade cookies.
