Airport

All international and domestic flights arrive to Aeroporto Francisco de Sá Carneiro (OPO), also called Aeroporto do Porto, six miles northwest of the center.

Airlines

TAP Portugal is the only airline with three weekly direct flights from Newark to Porto. Continental flies non-stop from Newark to Lisbon, while most other major airlines offer Lisbon flights with connections in Europe.

Flight Times

The direct flight from Newark to Porto takes just under 7 hours. Flights to Lisbon from the East Coast take 6-8 hours nonstop; from the West Coast and Midwest, tack on several hours of flying with a stop somewhere en-route. From Lisbon, add another 30 minutes flying time to Porto.
