The RipCord by iFly skydiving simulator allows you to take a short class, then hop into a wind-tunnel tube and, you know, see if you can fly.
The Verdict: This class is worth the time if for nothing else than a selfie in the outfit — picture a flight suit, helmet, and goggles. You also get earplugs — it sounds like an engine in there, and that’s on top of your screams. The (free!) class is a little more than an hour long, but you only get a minute suspended in air. Still, for first timers, it’s such a strange sensation that 60 seconds can feel like a long, long time.
