SO/, the snazzy hotel concept from Ennismore, officially opened its Maldives-based doors late last month. Rooted in fashion, art, and design, the super-modern SO/ is located just a 15-minute speedboat from Malé Velana International Airport and comprises 80 polished villas (both over-water and beachfront, each with a private pool and deck), and a wellness camp. SO/ Maldives also offers a handful of restaurant and bar experiences, including the retro-vibed and French Riviera-inspired Lazuli Beach Club and Pan-Asian-focused The Citronelle Club. The property’s wellness camp provides an East-meets-West concept and features unlimited access to the resort’s fitness center, coupled with a restorative spa menu with curated treatments, facials, and massages. Water excursions including kayaking, snorkeling, paddleboarding, and parasailing are also available.
