It’s all about timing. To avoid crowds and inflated prices, we recommend the period between high and low seasons when the weather is fine, places are still open and happy to welcome travelers, and you can explore a destination at your own pace. ShermansTravel experts call this magical time and space continuum the Sweet Spot.

When to go to Phuket

Peak Season: November to February

Prices are higher than usual, but still relatively reasonable compared to U.S. hotel rates. Never arrive without having booked a room first. Enjoy appealingly warm days, balmy nights and no rain whatsoever.

Off Season: March to October

Daily showers and high humidity don't necessarily mean fewer tourists. May and October are the wettest months, though it tends to rain only in the afternoon. Steady breezes keep humidity levels down. Hotel rates are average. Phuket doesn’t really have a low season.
