It’s all about timing. To avoid crowds and inflated prices, we recommend the period between high and low seasons when the weather is fine, places are still open and happy to welcome travelers, and you can explore a destination at your own pace. ShermansTravel experts call this magical time and space continuum the Sweet Spot.

When to go to United Arab Emirates

Peak Season: November to May

November to May is prime vacation time in the UAE as weather is mostly temperate (around 80 degrees) and outdoor activities are once again enjoyable. On occasion, though, May will experience summer-like heat waves.

Off Season: June to mid-September

With temperatures rising way past 105 degrees, summer months are literally unbearable. However, for those on a budget, hotels offer great deals at this time.

Sweet Spot: mid-September to mid-October

In 2008 and 2009 the holy months of Ramadan are wedged in between the sweltering summer and the popular winter. Regional visitors take advantage of holiday discounts, filling hotels and attractions. It’s also illegal to drink, smoke or eat in public during this time.
