Getting to Houston


The Bush Intercontinental (IAH) and William P. Hobby (HOU) airports make Houston the 4th-largest airport system in the U.S. Intercontinental is 20 miles from downtown; Hobby is 11 miles. Both access the city’s METROrail, which runs into Houston.


Of the 22 carriers that serve Houston, the top five are Continental, Southwest, Delta, American and US Airways. Other carriers include Air Canada, Air France, British Airways, China Airlines and AeroMexico.

Flight Times

Houston is about 4 hours from New York and 3 hours from Los Angeles. It’s just over 2 hours from Miami and 2.5 hours from Chicago.
