Venezuela

It’s all about timing. To avoid crowds and inflated prices, we recommend the period between high and low seasons when the weather is fine, places are still open and happy to welcome travelers, and you can explore a destination at your own pace. ShermansTravel experts call this magical time and space continuum the Sweet Spot.

When to go to Venezuela

Peak Season: November to March

The dry season is generally the best time to travel, particularly if you plan on hiking or spending time at the beach, but rates are higher and the crowds vicious, especially during holidays. Temperatures average 80 degrees.

Off-Season: May to September

The weather is still hot (around 90 degrees) and the cities almost deserted during the heart of the rainy season – expect heavy showers with occasional breaks of sunshine. Don’t forget that Angel Falls looks its best and is easiest to reach right after heavy rainfall.

Sweet Spot: October to April

You’ll experience occasional spots of rain during the shoulder season, but prices are down and crowds are minimal. Temperatures hover in the 90s.
