Lufthansa just launched a fall fare sale for some of the coolest under-the-radar destinations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Veer off the beaten track to explore cities like Bucharest, Marrakech and Istanbul for fares starting at $273 one way (based on a round-trip ticket). There are also reduced prices on some favorite destinations like L.A. to London for $365 (O/W).
THE VALUE: Save a couple hundred dollars and use it to stay in a fancy hotel since many of these countries offer affordable luxury. Here are some sample fares:

- Boston--Dusseldorf: $320
- Philadelphia--Dubai: $448
- D.C.--Dublin: $284
