When you think summer and 5-star vacations, the first word that comes to mind is “expensive.” But this summer, we’re bringing you a variety of 5-star hotels around the U.S. at 3-star prices. Note that we found all of these prices on Priceline.com, and they represent the lowest prices online for these properties. All pricing was accurate at the time of publication.

One of the best kept secrets in Orlando is that luxury-brand resorts tend to be relatively affordable so they can compete with sky-high demand for on-site hotels at Disney World and Universal Orlando. From $174 per night this summer, stay at the Ritz Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes. A 15-minute drive from Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, you’re able to enjoy all Orlando has to offer while staying at a world-class resort. This property has an on-site, 18-hole golf course, spa, cabana-lined pool, and award winning restaurants. There’s also a comprehensive on-site program for kids. If you’re looking for an extra dose of fun, the staff will set-up an in-room camping experience with a tipi tent, stuffed animal, lantern, and other treats for about $100.

In Scottsdale, the Four Seasons at Troon North sits on 40 acres in the middle of Arizona’s Sonoran Desert. From $189 per night, enjoy private terrace views in a single or two-level adobe casitas. Inspired by the surrounding desert, rooms have deep soaking, patio fire pits where you can do some stargazing. A great getaway for hikers and nature lovers alike, the property is surrounded by trails, and offers daily guided hikes and biking tours. For those looking to take advantage of Scottsdale’s world-class golf courses, the Four Seasons provides complimentary shuttle service to the Troon North Golf Club. An exclusive partnership with the club also grants hotel guests privileges in the private clubhouse.

From $141, stay at the Epic, by Kimpton Hotels in Miami Beach. This modern hotel sits right on Biscayne Boulevard in the epicenter of the city. Each room has floor-to-ceiling windows and furnished balconies with bay or city views, and the massive pool deck has panoramic views of Miami with cabanas and a full-service bar. At the hotel’s private marina, guests can pull up and park their boats for days spent out on the water. Note that Miami prices drop in summer due to some uncomfortably high temperatures and the risk of hurricanes, so keep this in mind when you book.
