Ready for some amazing hotel eye candy? On August 1, The Peninsula Paris will open its doors as the first European outpost for this iconic hotel brand. Located on Avenue Kléber in the 16th arrondissement, guests will be just a stone’s throw to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysées.
The former century-old Hotel Majestic has been meticulously restored and redesigned to feature 200 rooms, including 34 suites. (Five have rooftop gardens, naturally.) A stay here means that you’ll also encounter The Peninsula’s signature in-room, high-tech tablets, a handful of upscale bars and restaurants, a spa, and swimming pool. And of course, there’s the fleet of Rolls Royce cars to sweep guests off their feet upon arrival. Rates generally start at 1,100 euro per night for such a grand experience, but the hotel is currently offering a grand opening special that will let you stay for a mere 695 euro in August (750 euro with breakfast).
