Temperatures aren’t the only things dropping in fall and winter: Airlines are lowering their fares, too. If you plan on traveling in the coming months, snag one of these six deals before they're gone.

1. Japan: 20% off plus a free stopover

3. Switzerland: $1,010 roundtrip from New York
Soak up the culture of Switzerland with Swiss Air’s Autumn Special, featuring roundtrip flights between New York and Geneva starting at $1,010. Rather go to Zurich? It'll just be $15 extra. This offer is valid for travel through October 25.

4. Asia: Roundtrip from New York or Los Angeles to Hong Kong for $824
Cathay Pacific's Asia Flash Sale lets you select flights for a number of cities (Hong Kong, Manila, Saigon, to name a few) throughout the continent when flying until November 30 and between January 1, 2015 and March 31, 2015. Roundtrip from New York to Hong Kong in economy class starts at $824. Fly roundtrip from New York to Manila in economy class for $863.

5. Copenhagen: One-Way from New York for $231 in October
Fly with Norwegian Air from the Big Apple on select dates in October for one-way fares that start at $231. Return flights start at $238. Just input your dates in the Low Fare Calendar by September 30.
