Deal Alert: Fly United to China from $492

This deal has expired, but be sure to check out our Top 25 deals of the week for savings on trips to destinations around the globe.

China, a bucket-list destination for many, is super cheap to reach right now. While last week's shocking $348 roundtrip San Francisco-Hong Kong airfare (spurred by a United-Delta price war) is gone, terrific deals to other Chinese cities on United Airlines -- with flights as low as $492 -- remain through early fall.

United offers the most nonstop flights from the U.S. to China, and flights to more Chinese cities than any airline. We found the lowest fares for nonstop flights to Shanghai, a vibrant city once called the Paris of Asia in the 1930s, and Beijing, once called the “Forbidden City” and the launch point for a trip to the Great Wall. We also found cheap flights to Xian, known for the Terra Cotta Warriors, thousands of carved soldier statues dating back to China’s first Emperor. The San Francisco routes were added both to link Silicon Valley with China’s tech centers and because the city is hugely popular with Chinese visitors.

You'll want to book soon, though -- rates are changing quickly. Featured prices are inclusive of all taxes and fees.

Here are the lowest fares available now:
