When scoping out travel deals, we love the added bonus of a resort credit. So we were happy to learn that Florida’s Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort, Golf Club & Spa is offering $50 or $100 nightly resort credits that can be used for recreation, dining, beverages, or spa treatments. The best part? It's automatically included in regular bookings -- meaning there's no promo code or package details to fuss with.
This resort is set to join the JW Marriott portfolio in a year, and has received a makeover for the guestrooms, lobby, and other public spaces in preparation. So with this offer, you'll get a sneak peek at the new JW look, plus great rates and the credit. We love that this offer is available for a property on Marco Island -- an upscale Florida destination known for its beautiful, less-crowded Gulf shore beaches and some of the best shelling in the country. Deals of any kind can be hard to come by here. To book, simply make your reservations before December 25, 2016. Here's the breakdown:
- Now through December 25 ($50 credit): For the most part, rates start from $269-$279 per night for a room with one king or two queen beds. The exceptions are November 26-27 and December 3-5.
- December 26 to April 16, 2016 ($100 credit): Prices jump for this period -- it's high travel season in Florida -- but are offset by a more generous resort credit. Rates start from $419 for January 3-31 and February 1-10, then $569 and up for the rest of February, March, and April. Between this December 26 and January 2, 2016, prices are from $519.
- April 17 to December 25, 2016 ($50 credit): For the third leg of the resort credit offer, rates start from $189 on weeknights in August and September and $209 on Friday and Saturday nights. October stays start from $269. Want to stay in June and July? During those months, rates are from $279 -- except on weekend nights and July 3-4. Check in April 17-30 and all of May, except for the 27th to the 29th, and rates start at $379.
More about the property: A great option for putting your credits to good use are the resort's two new restaurants: airy Maia, for a casual ambiance, and Ario, where you can enjoy private wine tastings or a meal at the chef’s table. In early 2016, a new tiki bar called KANE will also open, serving frozen drinks and cocktails. And don't forget the Balinese-style spa, two 18-hole golf courses, water sports, tennis, and more.
