Las Vegas is a hotbed for rock-bottom room rates, but we don't always see such great deals at a brand-new property. That's why we were thrilled to find rooms for as low as $43 at one barely month-old property.
Part of Caesar’s Entertainment, the 2,253-room LINQ Hotel & Casino opened on October 30 on South Las Vegas Boulevard, in the heart of the Strip near Harrah’s Las Vegas and Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. Each room features floor-to-ceiling windows, vintage Vegas signage, and a high-tech system where you can order room service, request a board game, and launch the hotel's signature playlist with a touch of a button.
For the first three months -- through January 29 -- a special opening package starts from $79 for a deluxe king room and includes two day tickets to the High Roller, an observation wheel at 550 feet (value of $24.95 each). We test-drove the deal and found plenty of $79 weeknight prices, with most weekends for just $20 more. Stays must be booked by December 12. Use promo code IILNQ.
If you want just the room itself, the rates drop even further. You can find prices between $43 and $140 throughout December and into the first week of January.
The hotel is fresh off a major renovation that's transformed the former Quad Resort & Casino into a complex with a signature open-air LINQ Promenade -- filled with 12 restaurants, eight bars, and 14 shops, in addition to the High Roller. Brooklyn Bowl (a live music venue and bowling alley hybrid), the 24-hour Hash House A Go Go, and Guy Fieri’s first Vegas eatery are all in the hotel too. Cocktails at the lobby bar (3535) fold in 35 custom infusions and six wines are poured on tap.
