DOLE Whip is arguably the most iconic snack at Walt Disney World. The refreshing frozen treat is the perfect way to take a break from the Orlando heat. It is so popular, in fact, that there is an entire merchandise line celebrating the now-famous towering yellow swirl of dairy-free soft-serve.

Created by Dole in the 1980s when the corporation sponsored the Enchanted Tiki Room, DOLE Whip enjoys cult status today and comes in pineapple, vanilla or a combo swirl (from $4.99). For much too long, it was only available at Walt Disney World in the Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland, where it originally debuted, but it can now be found in surprising places both in and outside of the Magic Kingdom. In a move that was forbidden a couple decades ago, alcoholic versions of DOLE Whips can even be found throughout the parks.

These are the places to find a classic DOLE Whip — or an inventive variation — at Walt Disney World Resort:

Aloha Isle, Adventureland, Magic Kingdom

This is where it all started! Insider Tip: Prepare for long lines or use mobile ordering on the My Disney Experience app to cut your wait time. Get the classic cup or make it a Pineapple Float with pineapple juice poured on top. This is also the only place to get the soft-serve on a piece of pineapple upside down cake.

Wine Bar George, Disney Springs

If you are looking for an inventive variation of the DOLE Whip, head to this stylish eatery owned by Master Sommelier George Miliotes. The slushy Frozcato is made with DOLE Whip and vodka; add a prosecco floater on top to make it a Frozcato Mimosa. The flavorful Frozcato sugar cookie sandwich is big enough for to share, but you won’t want to! Prices start at $8.

Pineapple Lanai, Disney’s Polynesian Resort

This is the only place to get a souvenir tiki bowl or sipper with your DOLE Whip cup or float. Try a DOLE Whip with a coconut rum floater and sit by the tiki torches for a perfect tropical evening.

Tamu Tamu Refreshments, Disney’s Animal Kingdom

While you can enjoy classic DOLE Whip options here, you will also find alcoholic versions, too, with either dark or coconut rum.

Epcot

Alcoholic variations of the DOLE Whip are often found during the theme park’s many festivals, including Epcot Flower and Garden Festival and Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort

Though it's not referred to as a DOLE Whip on the menu, pineapple soft serve is available in the food court at this colorful resort.

Marketplace Snacks, Disney Springs

Not staying at a Disney resort or visiting a theme park? No problem! Score a classic Dole Whip and enjoy while shopping in Disney’s vibrant marketplace district.
