Great Wolf Lodge Teams with Nate Berkus on New Multigenerational Villas

Looking for a new multi-generational getaway? Those in the Northeast can narrow their search closer to home thanks to a new Great Wolf Lodge collaboration with interior design celeb Nate Berkus.

Debuting in late summer 2023 at the indoor water park resort chain's Pocono Mountains location is an all-new, three-bedroom Woodland Villas concept. We recently attended a design unveiling event with Nate Berkus and the Great Wolf Lodge team in Manhattan. Here's what we learned. 

The new three-bedroom villas are truly massive.

Each of the 30 Woodland Villas measures in at a whopping 1,550 square feet — not counting the sprawling outdoor living space — and you can book adjoining villas with indoor and outdoor connections. In addition to the three bedrooms, the interior space includes two bathrooms, a spacious living and dining area with wrap-around booths, a fully equipped kitchenette, and playful touches like bespoke rocking wolves for small children. Whether you're traveling with a large family or multiple friends, the villas comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. 

**Chicness and multi-functionality come together in the Nate Berkus-designed outdoor living paces. **

The outdoor portion of the new Woodland Villas is larger than most standard hotel rooms and features many elements inspired by the surrounding landscape. Custom-designed fabrics created by Berkus and his team accent two chairs and a sectional sofa. Multi-purpose furnishings — think: a dining table that transitions into a table tennis platform with a simple clip-on leather net — provide functional, family-friendly pieces without compromising style. 

Woodland Villas guests will have access to exclusive amenities and services.

Guests at the Woodland Villas will have access to separate parking and check-in areas, a private lounge, an outdoor recreation area, and more.

The villas are part of a greater $125 million expansion and renovation.

The Woodland Villas are part of the resort's most significant expansion to date. When complete, the Pocono Mountains property will feature a new dining concept, an update to its grand lobby, new guest rooms, and an enhanced Cub Paw toddler pool.
