In keeping with the Trader Hotels mid-market mantra, the new Hong Kong property promises its guests high quality accommodations with value for money. Located in Hong Kongs Western District, the hotel is immersed in a melting pot of modern and traditional: local eateries, temples, and traditional shops make up the surrounding blocks while just a couple of miles away, guests will find the citys bustling business district and happening nightlife venues.
Previously operated as Hotel Jen, the Traders Hotel was renovated in 2008 giving its 280 guestrooms and suites a sleek and contemporary design. Café 508, on the hotels second floor offers hungry guests lavish buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (at an additional cost), and the Traders Lounge on the 28th floor offers Club guests an inclusive buffet breakfast, private check in/out, afternoon tea and cocktails until 7:30pm (after it opens to the public for evening drinks a perfect setting to view the beautiful Victoria Harbour or the Peak). The hotel is additionally equipped with a lobby bar and a rooftop outdoor pool and gym.
To christen the new member of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, discounted introductory rates of roughly $122/night will be offered through September 30 and will include daily breakfast for two at Café 508, complimentary internet access, and late check-out at 3pm.
