Summer may be just about over, but later this month New York City will heat up with one of the world’s most exciting tennis tournaments: the U.S. Open. If you plan on coming to the Big Apple for this premier event, be sure to book one of these tennis-themed hotel packages to sweeten your stay.

Both the Gansevoort Meatpacking and the year-old Gansevoort Park Avenue are participating in the brand’s Gans, Set, Match package. In addition to nightly accommodations, the promotion includes Champagne and sliders for two at the rooftop lounge, two Lacoste polo shirts, two portable seat cushions, two Gansevoort caps, and an unlimited weekly MetroCard for subway transport. The hotels can even secure tickets to the matches, for an extra fee. Rates start at $462/night at the Gansevoort Meatpacking and $492/night at the Gansevoort Park Avenue for stays August 29-September 11.

The newly-rebranded Sanctuary Hotel (with an official “grand opening” in September) has its own U.S. Open Tennis Package, with rates from $499 for two nights. Feel like a tennis pro with a Mission Skincare kit by Serena Williams and a Rafa Tierra crew shirt by Rafael Nadal, not to mention a room upgrade and an unlimited subway pass. Sanctuary can also arrange U.S. Open tickets and chauffeured transport. The special is available August 18-September 5.

For VIP access to the Open itself, members of the Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) program have three chances to score seats in a luxury suite for one of the matches: Redeem SPG points for tickets on select days, use points to bid on tickets, or enter the grand prize sweepstakes by August 29 for seats at the women’s singles semifinals on September 10. Even if you miss out on the luxury suite, stop by the SPG booth at the U.S. Open for a chance to win a free resort night at one of 200 Starwood properties worldwide; new SPG members get a 250-point bonus for signing up for the program.

In addition, Starwood brand Westin is one of the official sponsors of the event. The NYC outpost of the chain will offer its own U.S. Open hotel package, although it’s not quite as splashy as the Gansevoorts’ or The Sanctuary’s: For $269/night (two-night minimum) the Westin New York at Times Square will throw in two MetroCards for transfer to and from the stadium and a bag with a tennis-themed gift. Available August 29-September 11.
