The 2,980-passenger Carnival Conquest may have originally debuted in 2002, but it was refit in 2012 with Carnival's signature features, from Guy's Burger Joint and BlueIguana Cantina to the Seafood Shack and the Alchemy Bar. Interior Upper/Lower
For two friends on a budget, these 185-square-foot cabins on decks 1 and 2 and 6 through 8 can be a bargain — but they’re limited in availability and someone has to climb up to the top bunk . The Promenade Deck (deck 5) is nightlife central, so if you’re sensitive to noise, avoid cabins on deck 6, with the exception of those very far forward. In addition, cabins on deck 8 aft are located below the Grand Buffet, so you may hear early-morning footfalls (from $429).

Interior
These cabins on decks 1 and 2 and 6 through 10 accommodate two (in twin beds or a king) to four (in two uppers and two lowers) in 185 square feet (from $499).

Porthole
Classified as interior and located far forward on decks 1 and 2, these 220-square-foot cabins feature two portholes and are a great-value option for for up to four friends or family members — but there are only six of these cabins available (from $529).

Interior with Picture Window
Located forward on decks 6 and 7, these 185-square-foot cabins sleep two and have a picture window with obstructed views or look out onto a non-private walkway; on deck 10, they measure 220 square feet (from $549).

Ocean View
These 220-square-foot cabins on decks 1 and 2 sleep two, three, or four in a variety of bed configurations and can connect (from $629).

Scenic Ocean View
Located on deck 9, these four forward-facing cabins accommodate two or four in 230 square feet — and feature a wall-to-wall window, making them the perfect choice for those who want lots of light. The two Scenic Grand Ocean View cabins that flank them are 320-square-feet and have three massive windows (from $659).  

Balcony
At 185 square feet, some of these cabins — located on decks 6 through 11 — sleep two while others accommodate four; balconies are 35 square feet (from $749).

Aft-View Extended Balcony
Cruisers who enjoy a balcony with a wake view should consider these 185-square-foot aft cabins on decks 6 through 8. They sleep two or three and have a 60-square-foot balcony (from $849).

Premium Balcony
Located aft on deck 8, these 185-square-foot cabins designed for two guests feature a 75-square-foot balcony and can connect to adjoining balcony cabins (from $969).  

Premium Vista Balcony 
Private outdoor space and a panoramic view are the reasons to upgrade to these cabins, which are located on the aft corners of decks 6 through 8. The interior space is 185 square feet, but the wraparound veranda is 75 square feet and some of these cabins can sleep three (from $989).

Junior Suite
These 275-square-foot suites (there are just two) are located far forward on deck 9 and are perfect for couple who wants to have a 50-square-foot balcony, VIP check-in, and a bathroom with double sinks and whirlpool tub (from $1,089).

Ocean Suite
Located on deck 7, these 275-square-foot suites sleep two, three, or four and feature suite amenities such as a walk-in closet, VIP check-in, and a large bath with a whirlpool tub (from $1,229).   

Grand Suite
These 345-square-foot suites on deck 7 sleep up to five and feature a living area, a private dressing area, VIP check-in, and a large bathroom with a whirlpool tub (from $1,499).

Captain’s Suite
The most impressive cabins on the ship are these two suites, located on deck 9 above the bridge. These two 548-square-foot suites sleep up to five people each and feature a master bedroom, two bathrooms (one with a shower, one with a tub), a living room with a sofa bed, a 258-square-foot balcony with sun loungers, and VIP check-in (from $1,999).
