What You Need to Know

The Look of Hutton Hotel

It's All in the Details

Hutton Hotel is housed in a white and gray high-rise building, but don’t be fooled by its somewhat ordinary exterior. The open-concept, design-forward lobby has a contemporary look and feel, complete with plush seating, dark wood wall paneling, a crisp neutral color palette, and bold artwork. House plants add a pop of green while bringing the outdoors in. The bright and airy ground-floor restaurant, Evelyn, serves classic American cuisine with a Southern twist — think Nashville hot fish and chips, confit bacon, and biscuits and gravy — in a stylish, art-filled setting that locals like to frequent. Meanwhile, Analog, the on-site music venue, has a cozy, living-room-like feel with cushy, retro-esque seating, plush velvet curtains, and jewel tones. There are also two on-site writer’s studios, each of which is distinctively designed: West Studio is decked out in Martin Guitars along with saltillo tilework and textured rugs, both of which add a Southwestern-inspired flair, while East Studio features Gibson guitars, dark wood flooring, plush seating, and an eye-popping green accent rug.

The hotel’s 250 guest rooms and suites are modern, with a serene color palette, granite bathrooms, and crisp white linens, though fun pops of blue can be found in the form of light fixtures and patterned carpeting. Dark wood writing desks are a bonus, and suites have all of the same amenities, as well as sleeper sofa-equipped living areas and floor-to-ceiling windows. For a true treat, splurge on one of the three penthouses, each with private balconies and crackling fireplaces.

The Vibe at Hutton Hotel

The boutique hotel is pretty much always buzzing with creative types. Guests and locals alike can be found mingling in the lobby, browsing through records in the vinyl library (which features a collection of original records for your in-room record player), tucking into brunch or dinner at Evelyn, or catching a live performance at Analog.

Who Will Love Hutton Hotel

Music lovers will especially appreciate a stay at Hutton Hotel since it offers an on-site vinyl library, music venue, writer’s studios (which also double as recording studios), and other music-centric programming, which we’ll dive into deeper in a bit.

Who Might Not Love Hutton Hotel

The property tends to gear more toward grown-ups — especially solo travelers, couples, and friend groups. With that in mind, families, especially those with young children, may be turned off by the lack of kid-centric amenities.

Best Amenity at Hutton Hotel

As part of the property’s Fender Play In-Room Experience, guests can choose from a selection of instruments — guitars, basses, and ukuleles — to play in the comfort of their room. Not a pro? No problem: Guests will also receive a pre-loaded iPad with Fender Play, an easy-to-follow guitar-learning platform. Last but not least, guests will also receive a goodie bag of Fender accessories plus a free three-month Fender Play trial so that they can continue to hone in on their craft.
