You have traveled far, mighty traveler. You are tired. You have checked into your hotel room, dropped your bags, and feel refreshed after a shower. All thats required now is the perfect cocktail to make the world right again.
But the hotel lobby bar is, well, in the lobby. And you are not.
Luckily, you've checked into the newly renovated Surrey Hotel in New York City. Thanks to their new in-room cocktail program, a well-shaken anything is merely a phone call away.
Their new exclusive cocktail service brings classic beverages right to your door. Choose a liquor from the in-room menu and a Surrey mixologist will bring all the accoutrements required for 4-5 perfect drinks. The bartender will make the first one, showing you the ropes, then will leave you with the rest to mix and experiment on your own.
Coming out of a 14-month, $60 million renovation, the Surrey Hotel has reconnected with its origins. Built in 1926 as a residence hotel, it became known for it's intimate guest service and care, hosting famous faces such as JFK and Bette Davis. In revitalizing The Surrey, with collaboration from acclaimed interior decorator Lauren Rottet, special attention was paid to maintaining the integrity of this history, while modernizing a truly intimate experience.
Rooms at The Surrey start from $450/night and can be booked at www.thesurrey.com
