Well, this is a bummer: JetBlue alerted former All You Can Jet travelers today that it will not be offering the super popular, month-long flight pass again this fall.

JetBlue debuted the ticket in 2009 to scurry up business during the slower fall travel season, then brought it around for a repeat performance in 2010. And the deal was pretty phenomenal: For most of September, ticket holders could pay a lump sum ($599 in 2009, $499 or $699 in 2010) to fly anywhere in the airline’s network, as often as they wanted (international taxes and fees were extra).

Not surprisingly, the pass sold out both years, and I know at least a few people who were rationing their vacation days in order to buy the pass this September. To that end, JetBlue was fairly sympathetic: It offered former All You Can Jet holders 30 percent off future travel (for the ticket holder and up to six friends). The rest of us just have to keep our fingers crossed for next year.
