With its picture-perfect stretches of sand, nostalgia-inducing, amusement ride-filled pier, and trendy restaurants, Santa Monica is arguably among SoCal’s coolest — and most dynamic — destinations. It’s also more laid-back and bohemian than bustling Los Angeles, which is only a brisk half-hour drive away (and that’s with traffic!). Bask in the city’s easygoing vibes at Le Meridien Delfina, an upscale resort-style hotel that’s just minutes away from the sand and surf but boasts a slew of its own noteworthy amenities. Check out our full review below.

What You Need to Know

The Look of Le Meridien Delfina

It's All in the Details

Housed in a contemporary high-rise building, Le Meridien Delfina is unassuming from the outside, but stylish and relaxed on the inside. Before walking through its doors, guests will notice a chic outdoor seating area with lots of greenery, cushy couches and chairs, and pops of yellows and blue. The contemporary lobby area offers more of the same — with the addition of wooden accents, striking chandeliers, and plenty of gray couches to lounge on. Similarly, the all-day Longitude Bar + Restaurant boasts a bright, airy aesthetic thanks to its sun-drenched space and cheery yellow seating.

The coastal-inspired look continues in the guest rooms and suites, which are done up in different blues, whites, and creams alongside beachy artwork. Expect funky accent walls and patterns, too. Pro tip: Consider springing on a suite with a hot tub-equipped balcony overlooking the pier.

The Vibe at Le Meridien Delfina

Effortlessly California cool with a fun, beachy-chic flair. Here, guests feel comfortable as they are — that is, without feeling the need to dress up or fit in as they might in nearby LA.
