Located in one of Atlanta’s most walkable neighborhoods, Midtown, the Loews Atlanta Hotel opened in 2010 as the brand’s first property in Georgia. Today, the sleek, 26-story luxury hotel lends a contemporary silhouette to the city's skyline. After a recent multi-million dollar refresh, the hotel continues to offer guests an array of amenities with completely modern conveniences. It’s steps away from the popular, sprawling Piedmont Park (which is home to the Atlanta Botanical Garden) and within walking distance of the High Museum of Art, The Woodruff Arts Center, and an array of Fortune 500 companies. With 414 rooms and 44 suites, this is a bustling, busy hotel in the heart of Atlanta where guests can easily fill their time with visits to nearby restaurants and cultural attractions.

What You Need to Know

The Look

It's All in the Details

Loews has done a commendable job of designing rooms that feel spacious and luxurious, but you’ll remember the city views before you’ll remember the décor. (The best feature here are the floor-to-ceiling windows that reveal sweeping city views.) Guest rooms are equipped with two flat-screen TVs and feature a warm and neutral color palette, as well as 300-thread count Egyptian cotton linens. The ring-spun cotton bath towels aren’t too shabby, either. Travelers who need to get things done will love the oversized desks.

The Vibe

Yes, the hotel has that shiny, just-renovated vibe, but it’s the sharp, professional, and friendly staff that make the property stand out. The food is great, the drinks are refreshing, and the rooms are well-designed and comfortable. Wedding parties, families, and business travelers alike all come for the easy access to Atlanta’s top dining and cultural attractions. The open, airy lobby is always buzzing with an interesting mix of tourists and locals, many of who come to enjoy the popular Saltwood bar (which is consistently voted one of the city’s top hotel bars), located adjacent to the lobby.

Loews works hard to incorporate local food into each property, and Loews Atlanta is no exception. Here, you'll find pasture-raised beef and pork from a local Georgia farm, which pair perfectly with local brews. There's Orpheus (a local brewery), AWS Distillery, and Woodsman and Wife, a husband-and-wife team of artisan cheesemakers.

Who Will Love It

Large groups, business travelers, and families will appreciate the depth and range of amenities and nearby offerings here.

The hotel’s Exhale Spa & Fitness Center's Core Fusion and yoga classes are amazing. It's also home to the only hammam detox chamber and rain shower. Additionally, guests receive complimentary access to the fitness center, dry saunas, steam rooms, and hammam — as well as $25 credit to use towards services of $100 or more.

Getting There
