At first utterance, the name Kensington begs a sartorial tone of English pretension, said with a clenched jaw while swirling a sifter of aged brandy and dawning tweed. And really, that air might not be to far from what the Doyle Collection hotel group was going for when they renovated the Kensington Hotel in London. The renovated space brings together four Victorian townhouses into a modern day replication of an exclusive London club of centuries ago.

The Kensington Hotel is offering a "Flavour of London" package so that you can enjoy this well-heeled neighborhood as well as the new digs. Now you can feel like part of the club, if decidedly less stuffy.

Based on a two-night stay, the package includes: Full English Breakfast per person per day, A 3 course dinner one night at Aubrey, the in-house restaurant, guaranteed dinner reservation at Tom Aikens Restaurant the other night of your stay, signed cookery book by Celebrity Chef Tom Aiken in your room upon arrival and an itinerary of local markets, food fairs, food halls and detailed information with suggestions of things to do in London during your weekend at The Kensington Hotel.

Location wise, the hotel is located near the tri-fecta of famous British museums, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum and is down the road from Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace.

** This hotel package is subject to availability and based on a two-consecutive night stay Thursday - Sunday. To guaranteed dinner reservations at Tom Aikens restaurant must be made at least two weeks in advance. Go to for more information
