Paradisus Playa del Carmen Opens

Tired of reading about the typical all-inclusive Mexico resort? Take a second look at the Paradisus Playa del Carmen, one of the finest all-inclusive properties in the country with a unique concept. This brand new resort is really two resorts in one – a family resort, Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Esmeralada, and one for adults only, Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Perla, with communal restaurants located in between the two.
Just minutes from the Cancun International Airport, the Paradisus is a hidden gem situated on the Caribbean with views of the island of Cozumel in the distance. The resort boasts 14 restaurants, 10 bars, complimentary life-enriching classes (including sessions on Mexican wines and tequilas), and a 20,000-square-foot spa and health club.
A perfect spot for honeymooners, couples, or adult groups looking to get away, the Paradisus La Perla is the brand’s first adults-only resort. It features 394 modern luxury suites appointed with upscale amenities and oversized bathrooms with rain showers.
For an even more upscale experience, the adult-only section’s Royal Service offers private check-in, a private pool, and your own personal butler. Guests will stay in one of the 60 swim-up suites that allow direct access to the free form pool directly from their terraces – my personal favorite feature.
On the opposite side of the resort is the family section, Paradisus La Esmeralda, which offers 512 lavish suites, including 56 that are swim-up. Keep the whole family occupied at this all-inclusive resort with tons of activities and excursions for children and adults alike.
This is an outstanding resort on the eastern Mexican coast with a friendly and educated staff, diverse restaurants, spacious rooms, and an amazing spa. I'd recommend Paradisus for just about anyone. www.paradisusplayadelcarmen.com
