The Aloha State is home to some of the world’s most beautiful beaches and landscapes, making a trip here well worth the long flight. Fortunately, a Hawaii hotel stay doesn’t have to cost a small fortune. That’s why we love Park Shore Waikiki, a contemporary oceanfront hotel that offers wallet-friendly rates and a handful of amenities.

What You Need to Know

The Look of Park Shore Waikiki

It's All in the Details

The laid-back Hawaiian vibes can be felt the second you walk inside Park Shore Waikiki, which has a beachy-chic aesthetic. The sun-drenched, natural light-filled lobby area — which is done up in whites and creams — serves as a popular gathering spot thanks to the abundance of chairs and sofas. Other stylish touches include striking light fixtures, vibrant palms, and a marble check-in desk.

Rooms and suites — some of which have views of the pool area, Diamond Head, and/or the ocean — are a bit more understated with a neutral color palette and dark wooden headboards. Standard rooms have step-out balconies, while the other categories offer larger lanais with outdoor furnishings.

The Vibe at Park Shore Waikiki

Warm and welcoming. Staff members are on hand to greet you with a warm Aloha, and they’ll be happy to help you with whatever else you may need during your stay. When guests aren’t soaking up the sun by the pool or enjoying Waikiki Beach, they’re most often mixing and mingling in the lobby or on-site eateries

Who Will Love Park Shore Waikiki

Travelers looking for an affordable, centrally located place to stay will especially enjoy this oceanfront hotel.

Who Might Not Love Park Shore Waikiki

The accommodations – while comfortable – are on the smaller side (almost all of them are under 300 square feet), so families and groups of friends may opt to stay somewhere that offers more space. Wellness enthusiasts should also note that there is no on-site spa.

The third-floor pool deck offers stunning views of Waikiki and Diamond Head. The three on-site restaurants — Lulu's (which serves up American classics with a Hawaiian twist in an open-air space), Tucker & Bevvy (where you can grab coffees, sandwiches, salads, and acai bowls), and Yoshitsune (known for its sushi and omakase) — are a close second.
